The label ‘Ridhi Arora’ stands for modern sensibilities which are very Indian at the core. “Inspiration for me is in everything I see on a day to day basis” says Ridhi. The label caters to the women of today, who are modern yet rooted to their traditions and culture. Use of simple Indian fabrics ranging from cottons and khadi’s to the more delicate chiffons and georgettes, coupled with interesting color palettes and delicate resham and zari embroideries, Ridhi truly believes in creating a look which defines various personas of a woman – traditional yet modern, flamboyant yet muted, bold yet delicate.

Ridhi Arora is a label that has emerged from a young girl's passion to design to a favourite amongst women who wear clothes as a reflection of their identities. From a Financial Consultant to a passion-driven entrepreneur, Ridhi came back from Canada to pursue her dreams. She launched her brand "Mutiyaar" in 2011, in a one room office, catering to all kinds of clients - some who understood her brand and some who visited her for just tailoring. Many a times, doing everything by herself, Ridhi has grown from a one-man show operating out of her studio to launching her own store in Delhi. Located in the heart of South Delhi, Ridhi Arora's store speaks for itself. With loyal clientele coming to her since its inception, Ridhi's designs beam with confidence and glamour. After successfully establishing herself as a designer, and gaining experience in retail, Ridhi re-launched herself as label "Ridhi Arora" at the very prestigious "India Beach Fashion Week". She showcased her range of diffusion gowns, thereby marking her entry in the world of premium couturiers. This marked a turning point for the label and she is now not just retailing from her store but also stocking with prestigious multi-designer platforms on a pan-India level. With 6 collections behind her, Ridhi's work has been featured not just in prominent dailies like Asian Age, Deccan Herald, HT City, Times of India, DNA After Hrs etc but also been featured in prestigious magazines like Femina, Plan Your Wedding etc. Celebrities such as Mansi Parekh, Sunny Leone, Swara Bhaskar etc have been seen wearing Ridhi Arora's exclusive designs. .

Ridhi Arora strongly feels designing is not taught but self-learned- “A designer learns with every collection they create” is a strong belief. Over the past four years, with a steady approach towards work, Ridhi has mastered the art of couture and has continuously striven to keep up the spirit of innovation in this vertical. Ridhi spends a significant time and resources on research before starting any collection. Focus is laid on studying different styles and cuts, embroidery techniques and new fabrics introduced in the market. The basic design philosophy is to create a garment which makes a woman feel beautiful and special. Ridhi is creative to the core and draws inspiration from nature and our rich Indian Heritage. The soul of her garments is very Mughal, with Zari and Resham being used extensively in her line, yet the packaging of each piece is decidedly modern. Although Indian Couture remains her forte, she is venturing out into a resort wear line of exclusive beadwork. She is also actively exploring different types of fabric processing techniques which are exclusively done in India. She has recently developed a collection of exclusively dyed cotton fabrics specifically keeping the Indian summer in mind. She also aims to develop an exclusive line using various print techniques which is done by local artisans. “The idea is to provide our customers not just a beautifully crafted garment to wear, but also mark a presence of ‘Brand India’ at a global level, by promoting various techniques of fabric treatment which are prevalent in India.

Apart from her retail outlet in Delhi, Ridhi Arora is available at prominent multi-designer stores in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chandigarh etc. The label also retails from online portals – and Ridhi’s designs are for everyone, which gives her an opportunity to work out a range which appeals to a young bride as well as her traditional yet elegant mother. Most important aspect of retail in India, Ridhi feels, is customer relationship. She goes an extra mile to be available for all her brides at the time of selection of outfit, customization and most importantly, for the final fittings. In short, she truly believes in earning customer’s loyalty as a regard to her hard work.
